THE AUTHOR
She grew up with the knowledge that there was something more something beyond what we can see or sense. She felt she was alone and different yet privileged and protected, but by whom?
By the age of 37, she was married and with four children. She dreamed that something very important would take place in her life at the age of 45. The dream was forgotten until it was fulfilled eight years later and to the letter.
What was the prophecy all about?
We follow her and see how her life changed drastically as she discovered that both her families were of Jewish background. This book reveals the many mind boggling Divine miracles which surrounded her life, from the moment she was born, till this very day. It tells of her struggle for acceptance, her pain of family rejection, and glowingly also of her moments of joy and her prayers to save the rest of her family. This is the story of a woman of great strength and a deep sense of emuna – faith in her G-D, the God of Israel.
It took 22 years to finish this book: and we now find her living in the Holy Land with her beloved husband, Michael, who without doubt is her soul mate, right hand, her emotional and spiritual support.
Her message is that - only by knowing our past we can have a future. One thing is related to the other. Recalling and repossessing our roots, is the key to find our goal in life.
Only HaShem knows which souls are Jewish: He will take care that those neshamot (souls) will be grafted back into the Tree of Life – which is Torah and Israel.
Devorah Mei has a degree from a US University in "Associate of Arts and Women Studies", which she finished with Excellence - Cum Laude.
To accomplish the Women Studies it was necessary a broad spectrum of knowledge in many areas related to them such as - cultural background, psychology, sociology, religion, education, work, family, children and some aspects of emotional issues connected to private life as well.
This particular studies gave her a great depth, understanding and experience into the analysis of the women psyche , much more as she audaciously brought all that secular knowledge under the Light of Torah.
That's how she made her final dissertation work, based on Torah standards only. She was amazed to discover that in spite of knowing she was Jewish, theUniversity honored her stand point, and even asked her permission to print some of her works to be distributed during an "Open day of literature on campus".
That's is how Devorah gave Honor to Hashem, the Eternal God of Israel .
